I’m a filmmaker. I leverage my love of visual and written language, background in post-production, and experience on set, to facilitate richer collaboration, more efficient production, and better storytelling.

My short film, Nose Goes, premiered at Boden International Film Festival. Other recent credits include key grip on Mache, a narrative short from A Remedy Productions (Outstanding Achievement Award IndieX Fest & Best Drama Short New Jersey Film Festival) and camera utility for Fiction, a music video for Scarlett shot on film.

I also co-host a script reading event called Roof Reads. Roof Reads is a space for actors to stretch their creative muscles and for writers to hear work out loud in a supportive context.

I hold an Associates in Film Production and Certificate of Achievement in Cinematography from Los Angeles City College, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Chicago College of the Performing Arts at Roosevelt University in Chicago, where I lived for close to a decade. I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I’m now based in Los Angeles.

My last name is pronounced “Ellis” + “Egg”.
